The Cross Keys The Cross Keys dates from the 16th century and overlooks the Leeds and Liverpool Canal where the Pennine Way follows the towpath for a short distance. Refurbished after a fire, the Cross Keys is tastefully decorated with beams and real fires. Owned by Copper Dragon, the visitor is assured of a warm welcome from it's current manager. Meals are served all day in the lounge bar and dining room and a room is available for groups. Specialty dishes include Scotts 1816 sausages. Ales from Copper Dragon and there are guest beers. The bar is well stocked with malt whiskies, spirits and wines from around the world. Car parking to the front and rear of the pub and there is access for the disabled.
