Open from 11 O' Clock in the morning until 11 O' Clock at night, there is ample time to enjoy a meal from the extensive menu. The Inn which faces south-west across the village green towards the old deer park offers a good range of hand-pulled real ales in it's cosy bar. The interesting residents' restaurant is in what was once the coutyard where local wood auctions used to be held.

Buckden is an ideal place from which to explore the most magnificent of the Yorkshire Dales - Wharfedale and it's many caves, potholes, waterfalls and villages. The Dales Way passes nearby and fishing is a popular pastime.

There are various packages for those who wish to stay more than one night at the Buck Inn from mid-week breaks to a three-day stay over Christmas.
